Most of their meeting was in silence. The two of them managed to have a common gaze directed outside the window, watching the clouds that passed by. It was similar to watching Maads crimson hair which never seemed to stop moving. Sorcerers were known to change their appearance, lightly or drastically depending on how they saw themselves. The most that Maad changed was how his hair fell and the color of his skin. Both of the men knew about each others past and one thing in common among them other than their gaze was their working background. Scaret could confess that he was first a scholar before he was a worker and even before he was a scholar he was an artist. However, his life of an artist was long forgotten just like his youthful days of chasing glory. Both of the men were much older than they looked and even more tired than their stubborn ways revealed.
His neck is very flexible, having his head cut off. Binded by magic, it is attached firmly but at the same time it has never healed since his death. Maad is a sorcerer who likes to flaunt his position but secretly hates everything about it. He is the lord of the flying castle named Quarrell.
Without textures or shading. I'd rather keep this one simple.
Thank you. He's an interestng character and I hope I made up for the lack of shading in his realism portrait.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
